The Burlington Quartet’s repertoire is very extensive, and the group endeavours to perform the exact type of music required at functions.
The style of our music ranges from light classical (Mozart quartets, Pachelbel’s Canon, and many well well known tunes used for television commercials etc.), through the ragtimes of the 1920’s to show tunes and light music of the present day. Please note, however, that we do not play any dance music, other than a few waltzes and polkas by Strauss.
Should you have any specific requests for pieces not currently in our repertoire, we will do our best to find arrangements of them.
Previous engagements have included The Cafe Royal, The Ritz, The Savoy and The Hilton Hotels in London, corporate functions for many companies, including Asprey of Bond Street, and recitals for English Heritage and Classic FM.
The Burlington Quartet also accompanied the Vienna State Ballet on their visit to London to commemorate Mozart’s bicentenary, and more recently provided a twelve piece Orchestra for the celebrity reception on the opening night of the film Titanic in 1997.
